Special Hanging Instructions
This handcrafted
wallcovering has an inherent variation
of shading and irregularity designed
to enhance the overall appearance
of the wallcovering. There may be
an intended vertical or horizontal
repeat depending on the design
The hand rub
finish is quite delicate. Take extra
care not to get paste on the fron
of the sheet. Also take care when
washing down the seams as the paper
can become burnished. Do not overwork
your seams. A small amount of pigment
may rub into your sponge. This is
normal and should not be considered
a defect. This handcrafted wallcovering
has an inherent variation of shading,
placement and mottled background effect.
It is designed to enhance the overall
appearance so some variation from
the book or sample is to be expected.
May panel slightly.
Excess adhesive
must be removed from the surface immediately
after hanging with clean water. Any
adhesive left on the paper for more
than several hours will attack the
printing ink and cause them to peel.
We will not be responsible for labor
claims due to adhesives degrading
the surface of the paper.
Please Follow These
Steps Before Hanging:
- Before opening
and cutting, examine carefull for
the correct design, correct colors
and correct quantity.
- Walls should
be covered with an oil base primer
or a wallpaper prep coat.
- Use only a
clear vinyl adhesive.
- Do not thin
paste with water.
